Waiting for a home
2017
Writing always supposes an inherent longing, the desire for something or someone lost. Our lecture will seek to reveal this longing, this desire throughout contemporary Irish literature.
What is specific in the way Irish contemporary writers express longing and desire? What do they desire in their longing? How do they express their yearning?
